Hey guys, my names Matt and well, to make a long story short I enjoy designing things for the web. Well thats not all of course, I also make my designs come to life in rich, colorful, interactive websites. I was born in 1992, so you will notice that I'm still pretty young. Nevertheless I am a very dedicated, hard working individual who takes pride in his work and always loves to learn something new. You can probably learn more about me by reading some of my articles or by contacting me than by reading this page. But maybe you just care about what I'm good at. If so, you can view my resume and see examples of the work I do by browsing my portfolio. If you like my site, then please don't be shy, shoot me an email. I love to hear from people who have been on my site!
The basics
- Name: Matt Rheault
- Age: 18
- Height: 6'2
- Education: UMASS Amherst Class of 2014
- Employment: inConcert Web Solutions, inc.
At the moment I am still a student, and don't have a whole lot of free time to myself. I will be attending UMASS Amherst as a computer science major from the fall semester of 2010 and will be graduating in 2014 (keep your fingers crossed). Some of the many things that I enjoy doing on my spare time involve soccer, poker, hanging out with my friends, cooking/eating, and of course building websites. Did I forget to mention that I'm also an avid fan of the T.V show House?
I guess you could say that I'm a pretty busy guy. My day usually consists of sleep, sleep, more sleep, and the occasional couple hours of work. In all seriousness I actually work part time at a local web design firm that I am lucky enough to live almost down the street from. I owe much of what I know in terms of programming and networking to this job, as every day I face a new challenge. Building websites are a ton of work, which I'm sure many people can attest to. But at the end of the day there is nothing more rewarding to site back and take a look at the finished product that you have poured hours of hard work into.
Well I suppose that you've read enough about me now to paint a pretty clear picture of my life. I like to take things one step at a time, and always pounce on the opportunities as they present themselves. I would say in 20 years if I have a steady job, a house and a family then my life goals would be fulfilled. Although a Mercedes and a 60 inch flat screen wouldn't hurt either! If you've taken the time to read through this rambling bio I've written then I would like to thank you for for browsing my site. Mjrportfolio.com actually means alot to me. It's where my passion and understanding for web & graphic design began and where I mastered it. If you check back often you are sure to notice many changes as I am constantly updating the theme and content of the site. Who knows, in 20 years this might be the new google! But I wouldn't bet any money on it.
